Ruth Irving is proud to serve as CTJ's Executive Director. A Southern California native, she's worked in the Jewish community for close to 15 years. Her passion for Jewish community involvement began as a teen working in religious school. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara with a degree in Religious Studies, she worked for Hillel, then transitioned to synagogues soon after in both Northern and Southern California. Later she received her MBA in Nonprofit Management from American Jewish University.

Ruth, along with her husband, Ben, and son, Noah, are happy to be back in the Los Angeles area, after five years down in Orange County. They are big foodies and love to travel during their free time.
